- 4.5 College Park Aviation Museum (120 reviews)
-Nice little museum
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Speciality Museums
This is a nice little museum that tells the history of Aviation and the role College Park played. It's the worlds oldest airport and was the site of the first lessons to military officers of how to fly an airplane. On display are planes from different eras, as well as billboards explaining what model they are. There's also billboards on College Park's aviation history. There's an upper observation area to see the planes from above. The main room overlooks the runway. While I saw a few planes on the ground I only saw one land. Overall a great affordable Museum that won't take all day. See more..
- 4.5 Lake Artemesia (37 reviews)
-What you would expect
Parks
What you would expect, a large lake surrounded by a trail. However the lake is very large. There's bridges to cross the lake and areas to sit and relax and even viewing areas. You can fish but can't swim, skate, or boat. People here walk, bike, and walk dogs. One interesting feature is the lake is next to railroad lines and Metro trains continue to pass by. A few planes from College Park Airport are also visible. The GPS took me into a neighborhood to park. Why I don't know. See more..

-Great atmosphere and beautiful arena - Go TERPS!
Spent 2-3 hours Arenas & Stadiums
That tingle when the student section is covered by the huge MD Flag during a basketball game is nothing short of incredible. Every time it makes the hairs on my arms stand on end. The arena is beautiful. Huge and modern with tons of great food options and a perfect college atmosphere mixing the smell of draft beer and the excitement of the college students with the adrenaline of a great basketball game. Love it! Go TERPS! See more..

-great bowling in college park
Bowling Alleys
We go to an event for several days each year in college park. We always spend several days at this bowling center. The day manager is awesome. He told us about the kids bowl free program a few years ago, so we would get 2 free games every day. This year they have a new program, but he still honored our kids bowl free program anyway. They also have "duck bowling". You get 3 shots with a small coconut sized ball to hit little pins about 1/3 the size of regular ones. It is awesome. See more..
