   This place is worth a stop, if you are in the area. The mansion has been beautifully restored and we were able to wander through on our own at our own pace. The basement had an interesting collection of WWI artifacts. We didn't go into the other buildings, but I'm sure those were interesting, too. In the fall they host the Pork and Apple Festival, which sounds like a lot of fun, too. We hope to be back! See more..

   The wife and I were going through Clinton when we spotted Whitney’s Cove. There was a sand volleyball game going on which is what caught our eye. People were there having fun. We stopped in for a couple of beverages and sat in an enclosed outdoor area and watched the games. The environment was family friendly and people of all ages were there.
