   This is a wonderful place for some great music.They have concerts on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer. It's in a natural bowl with plenty of shade.Just bring a chair or blanket and maybe some refreshments and your all set.They also usually have a food truck serving everything from hot dogs to ice cream.The music is top notch, with everything from rock to country, blue grass and everything in between.I highly recommend Lurman as a place for families to spend a couple of hours on the weekend.    This is a beautiful reminder of the sacrifice our men and women in uniforms have made for us over the years and centuries. It is a great place to drive around or walk around. I have taken my children there to see their great uncle's grave. Makes me proud to visit! See more..

   I love everything about this place! If you’re home for the holidays or need a girls’ night out, go paint some pottery together. The owner even ordered me ceramic flowers to decorate an ugly fence.    This is a relatively short walk (3.2 miles round trip) along the former #9 Trolley Line linking Ellicott City with Catonsville, Maryland. From Ellicott City to Catonsville, it is a gradual uphill climb. From Catonsville back to Ellicott City it is all downhill. Most of the route is covered by trees so it is an easy walk even during a hot sunny day. I suggest possibly bringing a picnic as there are several benches along the route where you can stop and enjoy a meal. This is a fun outing after visiting downtown Ellicott City or Catonsville, which also has a nice downtown area with lots of restaurants. See more..

   Went in Sept 2021 for a concert. Earth Wind and Fire. It was expensive to buy tickets online with all the added fees but I went to the box office to buy them and there was only a small fee added. Convenient to get to and park and box office has convenient hours. Our seats were in section 201 and were pretty good for the show. The arena is not huge so any seat would be good in there. The concert was great too! Would probably be great to see the UMBC basketball team play in there. Clean. Friendly staff. See more..
