    Colorado Farm Brewery image
Yes this is a Farm Brewery. You have heard of Farm to table. This is farm to glass. They raise the grains, make the malt, grow the hops and even figured out how to get the yeast right out of the air. This was a dairy farm converted to a malt facility that still supplies many of the regions craft breweries. The started a small Brewery that has grown because they make a great product. The food is a local food truck. The one there was one that makes their own brats. It was Gosar saguage. Yum. This is only open Thurs, Friday and Saturday. If your near check out their beer. San Luis Valley Brewing Company image
Recommended by our hotel for a relaxing light supper we decided to try. Located downtown on Main Street actually on a corner. So close parking was on the street. It was crowded but we were seated fairly quickly. Atmosphere is most definitely casual jeans and tee shirts. Typical for a pub and a local favorite. Waitress was friendly and courteous. Since we were eating light we took the sandwich menu. I had the Rueben with fries and my spouse had the cheese burger. Food was tasty. Also surprisingly they also had a reasonable small wine menu. Recommend for a casual meal and would go back if ever back in town. See more..
