   This place is really cool. Back in the day, it was basically the heart of this small mining town. It was the general store, post office, train station, bar, and even the switchboard operator worked here. It is neat to see. In the bar there is a picture of the town when the mine was active. Lots of antiques for sale upstairs as well as souvenirs, drinks, candy and more down stairs. The staff was friendly and seem to enjoy sharing the history of the building.    We were driving through the countryside from Devils Tower and passed through Aladdin population 15. We stopped by the store but it hadn't opened yet, I think they were just going to open as I saw a lady coming from around the building. We kept going and just out of town saw a sign for Aladdin Coal Tipple so we decided to stop. A great piece of history. Yes the path could use a little tender loving care, But considering Aladdin is a town of 15 simply amazing. Thank You or sharing this piece of history. See more..

   If you like fancy fern bars and white cloth table restaurants this place is not for you! If you like to find a fantastic great dive bar with a goods store and post office attached don't miss it. The owner and the staff are super friendly and easy to become friends. The owner/bar tender also owns the entire town of Aladdin, well which has 18 residents.... WHAT A GREAT TIME! See more..
