Spent 1-2 hours Horseback Riding Tours

We went to the winery because my sisters love wine. Val was eating lunch when we arrived but quickly finished up to give us a wine tasting. Val gave us a brief history of the winery and how he got into the business. Val lived a very colorful life and it was fun listening to his stories about his life. Val is very knowledgeable about wine and shared lots of useful information. I loved listening to him tell us how he made the wines and came up with the names and flavors. We sampled 4 types of wine and enjoyed most of them. The tasting was free. We ended up buying 3 of the varieties that we sampled. All were very good. See more..

Speciality & Gift Shops

Summer time is too hot for pecan processing in Oklahoma. However, the gift shop is full of fresh pecans, almonds, cashews and more. After a healthy sampling of pralines and two flavors of fudge, we bought the slightly salted cashews and dark chocolate pecan fudge. Friendly staff was helpful in pointing out some other local attractions. Will be busy this afternoon! See more..

History Museums

The Packard Museum is permanently closed. And new owners are not open to public. Was once a car place but no more. And new owners would appreciate people stop walking in. There are signs that say no trespassing keep out for a reason. So on your adventure on route 66 this is no longer a stop. But believe me that are doing good things just won't be open to the public.
