Well worth a visit. It is not too far from Dapaong, which you can use as a base. There is a sign at the site with the UNESCO logo. The history of the place was fascinating, seeing how people used the cliff side as a shelter against warring enemies. These people lived as semi-cave men against the cliff face, with the valley below as their vista The guides are knowledgeable, without giving an overload of details. The site needs to be preserved and even developed, so more people can be attracted and so that there is recognition and support for the community. Best to wear good, closed shoes as you clamber over boulders and into caves. There is also quite a steep ladder leading to the site. See more..
