We booked Cocotier Tours prior to embarking on a cruise of Seychelles. Nils was amazing! Very knowledgeable of the history and natural habitats of Mahe, as well as helpful in guiding us through the immigration process at he airport. We had a lovely guided hike to Copelia where he explained the habitat and various plants along the way. Also. on the way to the harbor, we had an informative tour of Victoria. Highly recommend Coctier tours. See more..

He is safe, honest, calm and can give you all historical events, current information, botanical knowledge and especialy information regarding fruit trees on the Island. We really enjoyed the day with him. He escorted my freind in the streets of Victoria and the market at no extra charge. His tel and whatsapp no. is +248-2540930 e-mail [email protected]. See more..

    Gerry's Private Charters image
We had a fantastic fishing day. In 4.5hrs trip we catched 2 tuna fish (we decided its enough for us) afterwards we did some snorkeling and visited a secluded beach. The VIRGO is a small fisherman boat 6m with no luxury features that give a decent fishing experience in a fair price. See more..

    Billy's Charter image
Billy and his deckhand David made my day when we went fishing at the drop off south of Mahe Island. They are a very likable crew and they know where the fish are and how to catch them! Though we didnt land marlin or sailfish (wich I had hoped for), we did land an amazing variety of nice big fish. It is not cheap, but I can highly recomend a full day of fishing with these guys… See more..

    Rely Tours image
We have booked an island tour with Antoine Sinon and found in him a very knowledgable and friendly guide. He went to great lengths to make us feel comfortable throughout the day and accommodated our wishes and interests. He knew every answer to any question my wife and I came up with and he really is so enthusiastic about the Seychelles. It was important to us that our tour guide is Seychellois. Our tour included stops in Victoria, the Takamaka Rum Distillery, a tea factory, a view point and many more. Antoine also introduced us to the bread fruit which we really appreciated. Thank you! What a fun morning. The kids had such a fantastic time making their art pieces and getting dirty. They cannot wait to go back to school and show their friends what they made. Beau Vallon Beach image
I 've been to other tropical places around the planet and I can not really explain why, but Beau Vallon was the best sunset I've seen/experienced sofar. I was not really looking for it, the sunset just made itself aware to me... watching the sun go down and the changing colors of the sky.... this picture will stay with me for a long long time. 9. 4.5 Anse Intendance (893 reviews)
    - Amazing beach with high waves
    Beaches
    Anse Intendance image
Headed down south of the island to ’Anse Intendance’ which is well-known as one of the most beautiful beached in Mahe. The beach itself looked stunning with white sand, blue sea, and clear sky. The waves there were very high (2 meters high) like we could hear all the waves crushed so hard and so strong on the shores from the distance. There was no guesthouse or restaurant on the beach, so if you are planning to go there, don’t forget to prepare everything with you. Not sure how to describe but we did had so much fun there, cruising on those waves was fabulous. I was lost in the wave few times hehehe, but it was super amazing. Must Must visit place in Mahe. 10. 4.5 Petite Anse (419 reviews)
    - One of our favorite beaches! Soft sand, shells, swing, food, beautiful blue water!
    Beaches
    Petite Anse image
Drive toward the four seasons hotel. When you arrive at the security hut between the roads, take the road on the left, sign in, and walk down the road 10 min staying to right, At the beach there is a swing, activities for hire, soft sand, boulders, lush green foliage, snorkel rental, and food. The water is unbelievably blue, with no waves when we visited in February. When you walk down the isn’t good signage- you mostly stay to the right. See more..
  11. 4.5 Morne Blanc (410 reviews)
    - Stunning view
    Hiking Trails
    Morne Blanc image
800m pretty much straight uphill (there are some spots where it levels out) will take you to this beautiful viewpoint. Most of the trail is shaded. There is a decent sized viewing deck at the top for your photo taking pleasure. What a view it is, greens and blues galore. I didn’t want to go back down. See more..
  12. 4.5 Moyenne Island (356 reviews)
    - Giant land tortoises and amazing flora!
    Islands
    Moyenne Island image
Slgreat way to spend an hour or so, up close and personal with giant land tortoises and exploring the amazing flora of this little island. You pay to get on and then can wander to your heart’s content. The first thing you see are the giant tortoises who will happy interact with you if you have food! There are a couple of nurseries for baby tortoises and a circular walk around the island with amazing views and a lot of information on the various plants. There are a number of historical buildings and sites and a tiny little museum with an interesting film about the last owner who established the island as a reserve. This island apparently has the largest diversity of plants per square foot of anywhere in the world so it’s a pretty amazing place. See more..
  13. 4.5 Anse Major (252 reviews)
    - Beautiful views
    Beaches
    Anse Major image
Such a nice easy trail. It took us a bit less than an hour, with stops to take in the view. There are signs all along the way, you know where you are heading to. Wear good shoes as it can get slippery on the rocks, and try to head there early as there’s no shade. Once you reach the beach, enjoy the sea. There’s a little sort of a restaurant at the beach, serving amazing tuna fish, a must try, better food than in some of the fine dining restaurants we tried on Seychelles!! And, if you don’t feel like going back on foot, there is a taxi boat that will take you to your starting point. A really nice morning! See more..
  14. 4.5 Copolia Trail (237 reviews)
    - Not Too Difficult
    Hiking Trails
    Copolia Trail image
I did this hike with a guide. While it was not initially easy (not having hiked in a very long time), it led to amazing views. However, the viewpoint is very weather dependent, so it is definitely recommended to check the weather in advance and go in the morning when it is likely clearer. See more..

    Beaches
    Anse Takamaka Beach image
This beach is really good for a stopover as you can park you car right next to the beach. The view is really stunning and it is good place to take some pictures. I have seen some people swimming there with high tide. If you are travelling by car lock your car and make sure nothing valuable is visible. See more..

We were stopping at fishermans cove so just a 10min walk down the beach is all it took for me. (my wife doesn't dive) i called in to book the 6 dive package over 3 days (2 dives on the morning). Booking in was easy and the meeting time was pretty clear. I have my Aow and have 96 dives. The gear was All well kept and in decent condition. Just a short stroll down the beach to the boat and off we went. Professional dive breafing and plan of action before each dive. The boat wasn't too packed which was nice also. All my 6 dives were excellent and saw sum great stuff like green and hawksbill turtles, reef sharks, eagle rays and even a dolphin passed through. Excellent thanks you See more..

  18. 4.5 Spiaggia di Port Launay (172 reviews)
    - Lovely beach

    Spiaggia di Port Launay image
We headed to Port Launay beach which is just right in the North of our wonderful resort at Constance Ephelia. Port Launay is one of the most popular beach in Marine Park on Mahe Island. It offered gorgeous scenery, white sandy, with calm ocean surface. This amazing beach was a perfect place for swimming and snorkeling indeed. We saw tons of beautiful fish around the edge of the impressive bay. We really do enjoyed our amazing experience at Port Launay beach. See more..

  20. 4.5 Sunset Beach (121 reviews)
    - Beautiful secluded beach!
    Beaches
    Sunset Beach image
This is a secluded beach which normally has a hotel attached to it. The hotel is currently closed for renovations so this little beach is really hardly used. Beautifully clear water with some snorkelling, there are hardly any people here during the week (apparently it is very busy on Sundays when the locals flock here) so you can have the perfect beach experience in seclusion! Get your taxi driver to drop you off and pick you up (there might be public transport but we came from the other side of the island so didn’t want to risk it). There is a tiny track down to the beach which might miss if you aren’t aware of where it is. Make sure you have shoes as it is rocky and there was some debris on the way down. There is so much shade under the trees so you will not need to have umbrellas etc with you but whilst the hotel is closed there isn’t any way of getting supplies so make sure you take water, food etc with you. Apparently the sunsets are amazing but we had to leave before then! See more..
  21. 4.5 Spiaggia Anse Soleil (112 reviews)

    Beaches
    Spiaggia Anse Soleil image
To reach Anse Soleil Drive toward the Four Seasons hotel. When you arrive at the security hut take the road to the right. Drive down to green restaurant, park on street not at restaurant. go through gate past restaurant, walk through restaurant parking lot, walk down restaurant stairs to beach. There are rocks for snorkeling on left and right. Small sandy beach with shade, and islands in water. A beautiful beach with shades of blue in water. Also stop by Petite Anse beach it is close and even better. To get there park your car near the security hut and walk down the road past the hut for ten minutes. They have a restaurant, activities, a swing, shells and fine sand. The water is beautiful shades of blue and it is surrounded by lush tropical plants. See more..
  22. 4.5 TAXI BOAT Happiness (89 reviews)
    - Convenient transfer from Anse Major
    Taxis & Shuttles • Ferries
    TAXI BOAT Happiness image
We (4 adults, 3 young kids) walked the trail to Anse Major and spent the morning at the beach. Happiness arrived to transfer other guests (we did not have mobile reception at Anse Major) and after "a quick wave, chat and see you then" everything was arranged for our trip back to Bel Ombre. He cruised slowly back close to the shore/rocks for us to admire the unbelievable natural beauty. Highly recommended! We paid about SCR150 per person to Bel Ombre and kids were half price. See more..
  23. 4.5 Baie Lazare Beach (85 reviews)
    - A perfect place for a perfect wedding
    Spent 2-3 hours Beaches
    Baie Lazare Beach image
We chose to get married in Seychelles not just because there are no formalities and nonsense running around but also because it's just so beautiful and peaceful. Our Wedding organizers chose Baie Lazare for the occasion and we absolutely loved it The beach is pristine and peaceful. It is quite a drive away from Victoria and that's the reason why it's never crowded. It offers a natural shade under the trees and the giant rocks in both ends are a great background for the pictures. You can get there either by bus, taxi or rent a car. There are some nice resorts around so you can either carry some snacks and water or just explore the restaurants around this area. See more..
  24. 4.5 Trois Freres Trail (81 reviews)
    - Good, but not great
    Hiking Trails
    Trois Freres Trail image
TOP TIP: Go early and you'll have the whole trail to yourself. By that I mean, try to start before about 9.30am We did a different hike each day. For us, Copolia and Morne Blanc were more enjoyable, with better views, but still Trois Freres was interesting. There's a mid point with a viewing platform, then the trail gets rougher and a warning sign tells you not to go on. You can, but take it easy. I had a 14kg toddler on my back so we only went a little way further and then turned back. See more..
  25. 4.5 Ocean Dream Divers (79 reviews)
    - Small professional dive center with exceptional Team
    Sunday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling
    Ocean Dream Divers image
I had twelve dives during short holidays at Mahe with Ocean Dream Divers and I have received great impressions from diving and from small Team of this dive center. We had most of dives in Marine Park and in Beu Vallon bay due to weather conditions but it was really good diving and we met almost all types of underwater fauna at Seychelles. Dive centre has very good medium size dive boat and Mike was very professional and flexibile in selection of dive sites everyday. See more..

  27. 4.5 Beach Shak (56 reviews)
    - Great cocktail bar on the beach
    Sunday: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM Spent 1-2 hours Bars & Clubs
    Beach Shak image
We visited here most evenings when we were staying on Mahe for a pre-dinner cocktail or two. It’s got a chilled vibe and great views of the sunset as you’re right on the beach. When it got busy, service could be slow, but having to wait for a Margarita while you’re sitting on a Seychelles beach isn’t too much of a hardship. Definitely recommended if you’re in Beau Vallon.
