    - Amazing experience!

    Edge of The World image
This was the best experience in Saudi Arabia for me! Omer is an amazing host and not only he shows the most stunning locations in the desert, takes great pictures of you on the edge and brings you to the amazing restaurant at the end of the day, but also he explains in a very entertaining way basics about Saudi culture and their way of living. I was a solo female traveler and Omer made sure I feel very safe and happy. As I learnt during the tour there were nothing to be worried as a single traveler in the first place, but I had my doubts before. Many thanks to Omer and his team and I can't wait to go explore more Saudi with them next time I come here! See more..
  3. 5.0 Al Rajhi Grand Mosque (322 reviews)
    - An Amazing and Stunning mosque
Friday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Religious Sites
    Al Rajhi Grand Mosque image
Riyadh has some truly beautiful Mosques, and the Al-Rajhi Grand Mosque must rank amongst the best. The amazing scale and beautiful and intricate design is not overwhelming, but elegant and calming. The centerpiece chandelier is the highlight, but it is complemented by the carpets, colors and paneling which enhance the design and patterns throughout. Our host spoke excellent English and answered any and all of our questions regarding the nature and structure of the mosque, a prayer session and the religion of Islam. We were allowed to admire the architecture, and sit in the visitor gallery to watch one of the prayer sessions. The mosque contains prayer areas for males and females (the combined areas can accommodate over 20,000 worshipers) and houses a library, research area, lecture rooms, and conference rooms. This was an exceptional and rewarding educational and hospitable experience. A must-see and must-do when visiting Riyadh See more..

  10. 5.0 Al-Dwaihra Mosque (1 review)
    Religious Sites
    Al-Dwaihra Mosque image

Historical Mosques in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Investigating Architectural Styles Typology"で解説されています。

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City(RCRC)のサイトの、Publications内に「Al-Bujairi…Heart of the Call」というアル・ブジャイリ(Al Bujairi)に関する情報が網羅されている134ページの出版物があり、エジプトの建築家Hassan Fathyが1960年代に撮影したモスクの写真が修復後の写真と共に載っています。

Really enjoyed the mall. It was large and well stocked. Almost every location was open and being used (very few vacancies). Excellent choices for restaurants. Even had a pharmacy, which saved me a separate trip. Parking was a breeze, and they had vallet parking as well. For those challenged with mobility in large facilities, they had indoor transportation. Restrooms throughout the facility. Everything was well marked for navigating. Excellent visit...I will return simply to sample other resturants. See more..

    Ushaiqer Heritage Village image
Ushaiqer Village was mostly closed when I visited, due to covid, but you can still walk through the streets and explore the area. It's an interesting village among the date orchards and it is mostly restored. Entry to the village is free. The Museum As-Salem was open, but I recommend you only go AFTER you have visited the rest of the village. This museum is Mr. As-Salem's private collection of antiques. He will take you through the museum, item by item, and give you excruciating details about every single thing. It took 2.5 hours and we were able to skip part of it. Entry was 10 SAR. This is over 2 hours from Riyadh, so book a driver for the day. There are other heritage villages to see in the area too: I really liked Al Shegra and the palace of Al Soubaie, as well as a small village called Sheikh Abdullah Ibn Zahem. See more..

The Riyadh Season boulevard is a great experience for all. It has so many larger than life attractions. It feels like Times Square, Universal and MGM Studios all wrapped into one. There are so many restaurants, games, rides, cafes, stores, and attractions. You can listen to live music, see a movie all in the same place. There is so much for everyone. Also it can be a lot of walking, but there are also golf carts available for a few. We parked across from the Boulevard for a few of 10 SAR which is very reasonable. We attended on a Friday night which was still very busy despite being more expensive than week nights. I went with my husband but next time I visit Riyadh during the season I will definitely bring my children because it is so great for the whole family. If you are in Riyadh I would definitely recommend this experience. See more..
