   Very attractive construction and well maintained, the Center is one of the unique places in the kingdom to visit particularly for those coming from outside of this area. Opened in 2018, it is visited by over 2 million people every year. The Center incorporates a museum, children's museum, library, cinema, theater, shopping area, park, fountain, and exhibition halls. I liked the library particularly. Amazing architectural design it is a great masterpiece indoors and outdoors. Ithra is built on mainstays including culture, creativity, community, art, and knowledge. Here knowledge meets fun – educational and interesting. The staff was very friendly and helpful.    Let your soul, mind and heart set in happy peace and joyful time.. this was my feeling during this safari diving trip .. the team, VIP yacht with the crow where just amazing.. food was excellent and enough.. Captain Aisha and Nuha were available on a blink of eye to support and listen to each diver. Diving sites were beautiful and different each time including wrecks and night dives . The local guides were supportive all the times as well. Activities was lots of fun and the group was a real sisters and brothers..     Very much enjoyed this ‘must see’ unique, historical site. Travelled from Al Khobar ,well worth the journey passing through the desert then the oasis of palm trees to get to the caves. Roadworks going on around site but found entrance. Paid our 50 riyals entry fee, went through the interesting ‘ Land of Civilisation ’ museum giving the history through the ages then through to the spectacular caves. Plenty of amazing photographic opportunities outside and inside the caves capturing the spectacular formations. Good to see the caves well maintained and accessible to all. No pressure from photographer on entrance, felt relaxed we could spend as long as we wanted in the caves. Reception staff helpful, clean facilities, bought souvenirs from the gift shop.We ate at the restaurant at entrance, nicely decorated, good food and pleasant staff.     16th May 2013: We reached Jawatha Masjid by 4:15pm. It was in the middle of the desert. It was also closed but the door was not locked so we were able to open it. The ruins of the original masjid are not left. It has a small park around it. We spent half hour there. Jawatha Mosque also incorrectly spelled Al-Jawana is located in the village of Al-Kilabiyah.     As everyone who has been to Saudi will know there are not many museums or other historical places to visit in the Eastern province. The visit to Tarout islands was a pleasant surprise. When we arrived at the fortress on a Friday afternoon there was a local market at the foot going on. We were enthusiastically welcomed by the locals. It turned out that the weekly event had been moved from Saturday and Friday and we were in luck. 5 minutes after arriving the tour started, the guide spoke both in Arabic and English. After visiting the fortress, the tour carried on through part of the old town where we were shown how buildings were constructed in the olden days, but also taken to a local thee house. Following the tour we were allowed to walk around the fortress on our own and take some pictures. Well worth the visit. The tour and visit to the fortress was free. See more..

    A super huge mall which has like up to 12 Gates which can be confusing for a first timer like myself. Make sure you know what you would like to check out or purchase as otherwise your time there will be taken up looking for that particular shop or item. Superlove the basement which captured the old-school feel of a souq. There is also a food court which offers quite a few good priced food options. Pleasant experience overall as shop assistants and the Arabs I met are helpful and, more importantly, spoke English well and I could be understood.     Who says life in KSA is boring? If you are in the Eastern province and pay one visit to the Scitech Centre and I bet you will visit here again. And, this is not just for those who are into Science or books. My husband took me on a date here and I am so glad he did. The exhibit side covers zillion interesting concepts and facts & "learning the fun way" tools was such a thrilling experience. I was a child again. I also loved watching the movies in IMAX. The dome is spectacular and the movies feels so real unlike other IMAXs I have been to. Take your schooling kids here – they will thank you for this. Few instruments are manhandled by the visitors kids and parents are not correcting them. This should be avoided and the damaged tools must be fixed instead of just leaving it there – doesn’t give a good impression.
