  1. 5.0 Nordic Ventures (1.384 reviews)
    - Unforgettable Times on the Fjord
    Saturday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Sightseeing Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
    Nordic Ventures image
Where do I even begin? Beyond impressed with Nordic Ventures and the enthusiasm and wisdom that our guide Craig brought to the experience. As a leader of an outdoor touring company from the states, I brought a group of 12 teenagers on the 3 day itinerary of kayaking and hiking. Craig greeted our kids with a playlist that got everyone motivated, and continued to bring an infectious positive energy that created a joyous group environment. Additionally, as an instructor myself, I learned some invaluable leadership skills from him. He struck the right balance of empowering students through responsibility, setting clear boundaries, and making jokes/having fun. Our students were thrilled by the gourmet fjord-side meals and the wildlife experiences (goats, sheep, etc.) they got to have with Nordic. The paddling was absolutely stunning, and the day hike was some of our students favorite views of the entire two week trip in Norway with my company. Would do this trip again and again! See more..
  2. 5.0 FjordSafari (1.143 reviews)
    - Great Start to our Norway Adventure with Fjord Safari!
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Safaris • Boat Tours • Hiking Trails • Hiking & Camping Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours

Snowshoe Hiking with Paulina and Eirich was a great experience! My husband and I are both seniors over 65 who exercise moderately. I was a little concerned with the uphill grades because of my weak knees, but using the poles to help ground me and having Paulina at my back assuring me of her support should I fall, gave me the confidence to brave the first half of our uphill hike. The second half was a breeze. Eirich gave clear instructions on how to use the snowshoes at the start. Our ride with him in the minivan through Aureland, on the winding mountain roads and viewing the breathtaking fjords, was both impressive and very informative. The welcomed half mark break with traditional snacks was much appreciated. Paulina and Eirich made this once in a lifetime experience memorable with their enthusiasm, knowledge, and attentiveness. I definitely would recommend Snowshoe Hiking with Fjord Safaris. Start your winter adventure in Norway, here in Flam! See more..
  3. 5.0 Bergen Segway (1.140 reviews)
    - A MUST
    Saturday: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, 8:00 PM - 10:30 PM City Tours • Segway Tours • Walking Tours • Sightseeing Tours

It was fun from the start. This was my second time on Segway, the first was ages ago. Tobius, our guide, patiently took us through all the necessary maneuver and we could practice inside the company's building before going out. On the streets, we went through many landmarks, stopped from time to time for Tobius to tell us about history and interesting things. Because of his soft voice and slight imperfection in English, sometimes it was a bit difficult to follow. Having said that, the fact that he took time with us and lead us to where we could not go by ourselves triumphed all the flaws. We were very happy and can truly recommend Segway Tour. See more..
  4. 5.0 Kjerag (541 reviews)
    - Kjerag, take it to another level and camp over night at the cliff edge.
    Mountains
    Kjerag image
The hike to Kjerag is normally thought of as a day trip. However, if you want to take it to another level, camp over night at the cliff edge. If you are lucky, as we were, the experience of seeing the summer sun set from 1000 m, should not be missed. There is the added bonus is enjoying the Plato and the boulder without the crowds waiting for their turn on the stone. What the vast majority miss out on this hike is going to Nesatind. Its only five minutes’ walk from the boulder. Sitting on Nesatind is as breath taking as standing on the boulder itself. It is in the area of Nesatind where you should camp for the night. Now you have a room with a best view in the world. I advise to bring gloves to use on the chains in the sections that have them. The additional weight of the backpack means extra pressure holding on and using the chains. There is a small stream of water close to the boulder so you do not need to carry the extra kgs of water all the way to the top. See more..

Fantastic experience to go white water rafting in the Class 4 rapid tour. definitely recommend if you don’t mind getting wet and having a lot of fun. The guides were fantastic at making everyone laugh and our raft guide Morgan was a hoot and made sure everyone was safe and well informed the whole time. Be sure to experience when in Voss See more..
  7. 5.0 Njord - Seakayak and Wildernes Adventures (351 reviews)
    - A great kayking experience
    Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eco Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
Njord - Seakayak and Wildernes Adventures image
Kayking is a must when visiting fjords! Totally worth the money, even though it might feel a bit pricey (for 1-day rental of double kayak we spent a bit less than 2.000 NOK). I am really happy we chose Njord kayak rental, the instructor was really nice and give us instructions regarding kayak use and safety on the spot. Although we never went kayaking before, it was a great experience for us and we spet almost 6 hours on the water. The views are marvellous! We got all necessary equipment and went all the way to Undredal. If you want to go further and aren't experienced in kayaking, I would recommend at least 2-day rental (especially if you want to go from Aurlandsfjord to Nærøyfjord). Be sure to book in advance, I wanted firstly to book a tour (a month in advance) but it was sold out - however, it was even better to go alone at the end in my opinion. I really recommed this to everyone visiting Flåm. See more..
  8. 5.0 ICETROLL - Glacier Hiking & Kayaking (304 reviews)
    - Even in the pouring rain a thrilling experience
    Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Kayaking & Canoeing
ICETROLL - Glacier Hiking & Kayaking image
One of the first questions that Lisa, our "Did you actually check the weather forecast before you booked?" since we booked only one day ahead and knew it was going to rain cats and dogs. But since we were on a road trip and traveling through Sogndal with a big raincloud following us, we decided to do it anyway. And it was totally worth it. We were the only 2 guests for the motorboat & glacier tour, so got a private tour for the price of a group tour. Eventually, the rain stopped and we had a wonderful glacier hike. We loved Lisa and her dry, but charming Finnish humor. She is very knowledgeable and explained a lot about the glacier to us. She also made us feel completely safe. It is definitely something even a family with children could do. I can warmly recommend this to anyone passing through the area. The warmly also goes for your clothes - do wear good warm waterproof functional clothing, especially when it rains - otherwise you're going to be miserable. See more..
  9. 5.0 FjordEvents (255 reviews)
    - Nature, action and a great hike
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Boat Tours • Speed Boats Tours
    FjordEvents image
Flørli 4444, take a great RIB ride into Lysefjorden with a challenging hike up the 4444 stairs to the mountain of Flørli. Roundtrip is recomended with «rallarvegen» when walking down again. Fjordevent has a great crew with a lot of knowledge of Lysefjorden. They will speed up and play through the waves making you smile. And then stop to show some of the attractions through the Fjord, as the famous pulpit rock. If lucky you can also spot eagle’s. Fjordevent is highly recommended and a day well spent to a rather cheap price. Try it and find out! See more..
  10. 5.0 Outdoor Norway (250 reviews)
    - Awesome River SUP Adventures
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Bike Tours • Gear Rentals • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
    Outdoor Norway image
River SUP was an awesome experience. We arrived in the morning and were outfitted with plenty of neoprene to keep warm. We wore our own wollen thermals underneath, for extra warmth but probably didn't need them as it was a nice sunny day. It was just the two of us with a guide, and we SUP at home, so we got to spend some great time travesing and trying to surf a big standing wave (with many falls) before a leisurely cruise down a beautiful river into town on fast-moving but flat water, then a pull across the lake. The guide (I am a terrible person and can't remember a name) was friendly, happy to explain, and quick to help (including a nice sprint downriver to retieve a lost paddle). An awesome day for some paddleboarders who wanted to try stretching to some white water, but I can see that it would be easily modified to suit beginners as well. Great tour, great people, would heartily reccommend. See more..
  11. 5.0 Gone Paddling AS (237 reviews)
    - Kayak Adventure
    Saturday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM Scuba & Snorkelling • Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks • Climbing Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
    Gone Paddling AS image
My wife and I booked a kayak trip and could not have had a better experience. They drove all the way to Bergen to pick us up and provided everything we needed. Our guide Neil was very professional, personable and a great guy to talk to. We felt like we were in good hands. He showed us some cool WWII caves and structures. Neil was super patient too, we didn't feel rushed at all. The location was beautiful and I can't believe how much water we were able to cover (good kayaks!). Lunch was included and very tasty and so was the locally made juice he provided. Neil even drove us back to Bergen! We felt like the trip was a great value, given how far out of the way they go to make the trip easy, through transportation, meals, and the amount of time spent on the water with a professional guide. If we're ever back in the Bergen area we will definitely book another adventure with Gone Paddling. See more..
  12. 5.0 Trolltunga Adventures (221 reviews)
    - Absolutely worth the hike!
Walking Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
    Trolltunga Adventures image
Me and my partner went to do the Trolltunga Hike (one day activity) at the end of March 22. Our tour guide was extremely clued up and cared about our safety, we were issued with snow spikes and walking polls which were incredible helpful for this type of walk. The pace was reasonable and was easy to keep up with, but wouldn’t recommend for someone that is really unfit as their are time constraints. Unfortunately due to the weather we couldn’t stand on the tongue as it was too icy, but safety first always! I would recommend this trip, out of season was good as on the hike we only saw 5 other people throughout the whole day! Bring plenty of food and drink for energy as you will burn a lot of calories. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! :) See more..

  14. 5.0 Skydive Voss (198 reviews)
    - Unforgettable experience. Full marks to Skydive Voss
    Saturday: 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM Adrenaline & Extreme Tours • Skydiving
    Skydive Voss image
On a weekend trip to Voss me and a friend (both aged around 60) noticed a brochure at our hotel and spontaneously decided to book tandem jumps. We opted for the “HD” option with dedicated cameraman and video and pictures included. The providers were very friendly, highly professional well organized and good fun. The jump experience was extremely intense. Flying up to 14000 feet, sitting in the door with your feet dangling out and letting go for a nerve racking 60 seconds of free fall interacting with the cameraman before the shoot unfolds. Intense! Very safe I’m sure, but still not for the faint hearted. A very short time after landing we got an e-mail with link to download great movie and stil phots. Top marks to Skydive Voss! See more..
  15. 5.0 Gripruta (197 reviews)
    - Well Worth It
Spent More than 3 hours Ferries
    Gripruta image
The round trip takes about 3 hours, with a guided tour at Grip. Grip has a long and stirring history so far back that the origin of the name is unknown. However we are certain that it was the abundance of fish in the sea surrounding these islands that lured the first inhabitants to Grip. Until 1964 Grip was the smallest municipality in Norway, but is today part of Kristiansund. See more..
  16. 5.0 Romsdalsstigen Via Ferrata (193 reviews)
    - 1-2 hour fun in the mountains
Temporarily closed - Closed until May 1, 2023 Climbing Tours
    Romsdalsstigen Via Ferrata image
The favorite part is that I had more and more fun the further up I climbed and wanted to climb more at the end. And I was a bit nervous in the beginning of the trail actually feeling that I wouldn't go through it. But I went with my friends and we had two amazing and calmly guides who made the climbing easy and fun. You get to see breathtaking view of the mountain across and basically whole Åndalsnes. I had an amazing feeling after I accomplished the climbing (espacially when you are a bit scared of heights). This trail is at level B. Not too challenging and not too easy. If you havent done via ferrata before I definitely recommend this one. When you are done climbing you can walk further up to Rampestreken which takes aprox. 15 minutes. And walk further 10-15 minutes to take the gondola down to the city center. See more..
  17. 5.0 Fjord Active (185 reviews)
    - Fantastic body rafting
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM Nature & Wildlife Tours
    Fjord Active image
Our canyoning/body rafting tour was great. Very friendly and empathic guide. We always felt safe, he was very helpful. The river spot is great for canyoning for the whole family because the guide adapts the tour to the condition of the group. We made it up to the top and had great jumps (up to 8 meters) and slides in the water. It was a lot of fun. Also the organization the days before was great. They sent us a descirption for the way to the parking area and we even could call them in the evening and weekend. See more..
  18. 5.0 Aurlandsfjellet National Tourist Route (185 reviews)
    - Raw nature at its best
    Points of Interest & Landmarks
    Aurlandsfjellet National Tourist Route image
Highly recommend taking this route instead of the worlds longest tunnel. Raw nature, sheep, small “ice bergs”, lakes, rivers, snow, raw rock and breath taking views - basically what you would expect going over the mountain. Would love to take my bike on this route some time as well - bring warm cloth ;) See more..
  19. 5.0 Balestrand Fjord Adventures (179 reviews)
    - Best way to see the fjords
    Boat Tours
    Balestrand Fjord Adventures image
Our RIB boat tour was in one word: Amazing! The captain was very knowledgeable about the area and shared tons of stories and local legends, he even sang a folk song for us. The boat itself was so much fun zooming in and out of the fjord branches. This was my favorite boat ride of our trip and defiantly the best way to experience the fjords! See more..
  20. 5.0 eMobility Geiranger (173 reviews)
    - A Must Do for Photographers!
Gear Rentals • Sightseeing Tours • Private Tours • Self-Guided Tours & Rentals
    eMobility Geiranger image
(This experience occurred in August 2018, which was not offered in the drop down list.) If you are a photographer, this is the BEST way to see Dalsnibba and the beautiful scenery on the way to the summit. If you take a bus, (1) it doesn't stop and (2) you don't get to experience the sights and sounds of a beautiful place. The day that we went was cold and rainy, and I'll warn you that there's no heater in the electric vehicle. However, the experience was one that I'll never forget or regret. After a short, but informative, orientation at the station, you take off for the summit. I was warned to not punch the accelerator to the maximum on the ascent, as there is enough charge in the battery to reach the summit at a moderate speed, but not full speed (there's a gauge on the dash to advise power usage and storage). The vehicle partially recharges as you coast on the descent. See more..

Frank is a very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced local guide. 4th January 2023 was a snowy day - the hike up to the summit was well paced with commentary and anecdotes along the way. The panoramic views at the top were breathtaking. Frank was very familiar with the snowy terrain and kept everyone safe throughout the mountain hike. Following the descent, we were treated to hot drinks, reindeer meat and local chocolates in a warm log cabin. All in all, a “must do” if you are in Bergen, Norway. Get out of the City and experience the majesty of the Norwegian mountains and fjords after you have done the obligatory fjords cruise. Julian, Rob & Lyla, United Kingdom. See more..
  22. 5.0 Adventure Tours Norway (164 reviews)
    - Excellent
Bike Tours • Boat Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Stand Up Paddleboarding
    Adventure Tours Norway image
I would recomended to book with them on line . they are located less 10 minutes walk from the ship dock and there is only one street and one way you can walk from the ship , so you will not miss it. The RIB ride is nice. What really count is the convenience and the cost. If you book with the cruise line, it will cause you double of what you paid wtih them and they do offer other excursions. I highly recomended to viist their stand on your way to the town center. See more..
  23. 5.0 I Love Bergen (157 reviews)
    - One of the best walking tours I went on
    Walking Tours • Private Tours
    I Love Bergen image
Rating: 10/10 Patrick was amazing. The city walk tour was a fantastic start to our staty in Bergen. By the end of the tour, we had a good understanding of Norway/Bergen/Norweigian culture. He is highly knowledgeable anything about Norway. You can ask him about any topic: history/ sport/ culture/ food/ politics/ recommendations. He knows it all. He gave us enough time to ask questions and patiently answered all of our questions. You can quickly notice the depth of his explanation. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Bergen for the first time. P.S: We took the city tour in January, and it was windy & chilly. So, I would recommend to layer up as it gets windy during the city walk. See more..

Excellent five hours on the fjord kayaking trip! Our guide Martin was excellent and very informative. We saw lots of wildlife; fish, sea birds and even harbour porpoise! Equipment was very good and in great condition. Itinerary can be flexible depending on what the group wants to do and it’s a maximum of three double kayaks per guide (only two kayaks on our trip). Highly recommended. See more..

    SUP Norway image
These guys are top class, firstly I have to say how brilliant they were through covid, we had to rearrange our trip 2/3 times due to UK and Norway covid rules. Titus made this really easy simple and very understanding. The trip starts with an incredibly detailed but fun safety brief and full training on all kit (even how to put a tent peg in lol) everything was very very well organised, the locations were incredible. Sadly we had terrible weather and our route was impacted daily but our guide Siim worked hard in conjunction with land support to organise plan b, c, d and so on. Also I was impressed with all the kit susch as the MSR tents as I use these at home and find them to be great! If you do not go on this trip with SUP Norway you’ve missed out! Thanks Siim and Titus you guys are class. See more..

    Norway AdvenTURes image
My boyfriend and I participated in a 2 day kayak trip through the Hjorundfjord. The trip was very well organized. Good explanation about kayak technique, safety and our day/night planning. The fjord were we kayaked through was beautiful and we had a nice lunch (which was provided by Norway Adventures) with an amazing view. We were with a group of 9 participants and had 2 tour guides, experienced and had much knowledge about the nature, surroundings. When we arrived at the camping place, we set up the tents and the tour guide prepared a campfire to cook dinner on, which tasted so good! We slept well in the tent and the day after we kayaked back to the start place. I would highly recommend this kayak trip to anyone, since it was very well organized and just really nice! See more..

Hiking and Kayaking Norwegian Fjords (Autumn) in Lysefjord Wow, what an experience. Rasmus is well organized, friendly, informative, and fun. The cabin was well appointed with all facilities you need. The food cooked by Rasmus was excellent. Our itinerary was altered to suit the weather but this only enhanced the experience giving us the opportunity to see bioluminescence algea. Stunning views no matter what the weather is 100% recommend See more..
