Multi-day Tours • Gear Rentals • Hiking & Camping Tours • Private Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Day Trips
We did a 2 hour guided hike up the base of Mulanje Mountain to a beautiful waterfall where we went swimming in the most beautiful cool water. Beautiful hike, beautiful swim, and Ganizani Mvehiwa was wonderful to take us the whole way and tell us about the traditional sacredness of this area. He’s a local young man and doing all he can to help support his family. Later we sent a few humanitarian groups (of 24 people each) with Ganizani, and they loved it and he kept them safe and taken care of. Would recommend him to others: His WhatsApp: +265882395708 or +265990923197 The cost was very low, and he was happy with anything we gave him. So kind and helpful. See more..

Kingsly knows a lot about the mountain, makes sure the pace is ok, and helps you in the more difficult parts of the trail. Big recommendation, thank you for a great trip! See more..
- 5.0 Mulanje Adventure Tours (5 reviews)
-Majestic Mulanje
Multi-day Tours • Adrenaline & Extreme Tours • Walking Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Day Trips
We booked this on the good reviews. Snowden was so helpful with all our numerous questions about hiking and transfers etc.. We are travelling, in our 50’s and didn’t realise how big this amazing mountain is!! Our guide was Emanuel and he was amazing. Considerate of our ability, carried my day bag and often stopped to tell us about the history of the land, habitat, local community and their past believes pre Christianity. So interesting. Snowden and 2 young porters met us at Chambe Hut and fed us like kings. The night sky is something else. We swam in the rock pools. It’s a hard hike and 2 days was plenty for us for it to be enjoyable. We cannot recommend Snowden and his team highly enough. Contact him now. See more..

I visited Malawi in July to climb Sapitwa before some time at the lake. Francis planned a wonderful route and arranged the food and accommodation for our three days on the mountain. The final push from Chisepo Hut to Sapitwa was tough going but Francis moved at the right pace for me and I felt completely safe throughout. After Mulanje, Francis arranged a car and driver at very reasonable rates for the trip to the lake. With Francis, you are in very safe hands! See more..

Anchors was a great experience. My favourite spot in the city of Blantyre. The cocktails are really nice. I recommed the 'ILLALA' cocktail which contains malawian based spirits and liqour. Its also a great place if you want to go do some work outside your office. There is plenty of sitting space with a very chilled vibe for you to enjoy your drink while working. They have a nice variety of hot beverages aswell. Food is available. Great customer service which was very impressive. Overall, i highly recommend Anchors lounge.. See more..

- 5.0 Trek Mulanje (1 review)
-A trip of a lifetime
Climbing Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours
My trip to Malawi was the most memorable of my life. I went on a challenge/expedition, and the challenge was a climb to the top of mount Mulanje. David Majeweta and his guides were so amazing. Expert in their knowledge and understanding of the mountains; although the climb was challenging, the beauty and vastness of the views were incredible. We stayed at the top overnight before descending the next day. Malawi may not be a rich country, but it has many rich experiences to share and the most beautiful, kind people I have met. I cannot thank David enough. If you ever get the chance to visit Malawi, then contact David in first instance. See more..

- 4.5 Majete Wildlife Reserve (101 reviews)
-A great couple of days in a beautiful setting with oodles of wildlife
Spent More than 3 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas
We spent two nights at Thawale Lodge whilst visiting Majete Wildlife Reserve. We had a tented room that was comfortable and looked out onto the waterhole. The main lodge building was lovely, and we enjoyed eating outside by the waterhole, which was frequently visited by animals, including the local elephant. The staff were very friendly and the level of service was excellent. We had four game drives in total and saw elephants, lions, wild dogs, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and many antelopes and birds. It was a fantastic experience. The amazing is that a few years back this place was decimated by poaching but through careful management it is now a delight to explore See more..

Lois helped make us the most amazing custom wedding invitations based on some Christmas cards we were inspired by in the gallery. Lois was fantastic at looping us in the right amount when we were making creative decisions. We asked for the cards in a ridiculously short window of time and couldn't believe the quality of the work done and that it was completed early! We are incredibly grateful to the La Caverna team and recommend it so highly as a place for creative people to enjoy. See more..
