When we booked Tarasport we never expected this level of professional service. Everything here is created with the greatest care about the visitors. The huts are beautiful, the food is absolutely delicious and abundant, the owners are ready to help. You can see that the place is growing. It's right by the river and the mountains so the views are incredible. But the best part is the staff. The waitress that was around the 3 days we were there never stops smiling, talked to us about Bosnia and everything we wanted to know. This is the third year in a row that a group of 15 friends and I spent the most exiting weekend of the year in rafting camp Highlander. This experience gets better each year. I visited other rafting camps, but this one has the absolute best location, which gives you the opportunity to eat delicious meals, drink coffee or just relax, overlooking the wonderful Drina river. This place has the perfect balance of fun and relaxing activities. Rafting itself is organized in an extremely professional way, all skippers are great. This year our skipper was young Stefan (Dugi) and we had two amazing rafting trips with him. An absolutely amazing day out, nothing was too much trouble and all organised over WhatsApp with Djordje. We were actually picked up from the Montenegro border to go to the camp in Bosnia and then after a quick change and land rover ride over to the star point our rafting adventure began. Our two daughters (13 and 9) were a bit unsure beforehand but absolutely loved every minute of it and we were lucky with some fantastic weather. Firstly, we thought that we only were able to see the old battery factory building. However, this place has been the highlight of our trip to BIH. I recommend to take your time when visiting the memorial cemetery and the museum as well. Thank you to the young lady who provided us professionally with additional information that was mentioned on the signs. This is a must-see place when you are visiting BIH. We had a fantastic experience with Outdoor Tara. Branko was kind to help with a hiking experience and we had a day of rafting being the only people on the river. It was amazing. The guide on our hiking trip was quick to notice our wishes and instantly changed the itinerary to be a lot longer as we hoped for a long walk. Staying at camp 87 was great too. EXCEPTIONAL … I can say no more from booking to getting dropped off at Sarajevo Airport for our flight home the support and help from Graeme and his team was outstanding . Myself my wife and son have just returned from Jahorina having taken the Silver Hotel Package …. and already booked for next feb half term . It is everything one would want from a ski holiday for a family Sun , Snow , Great Food and the odd glass of Kuvano Vino ! Such a relaxed enviroment to enjoy . Everthing catered for as soon as you get off the plane met at arrivals taken to hotel , sized up for kit and given lift passes. It was very hard to get decent information about visiting this park. We found Radovic guest house and the lady there gave us more info than we could find on the net. We wanted to visit the primeval forest but you need a guide and with the added car rental costs it was going to cost 150 Euro. We rented a car and driver for 40 Euro for the day, park entrance was 2.5 Euro per person. On the way to Maglic mountain we stopped at the lovely view points, which are in the primeval forest just off the main road to the mountain. At the top car park our driver pointed us in the direction and it's an easy followed 6 km track through beautiful scenery to the heart shaped lake. DMD kamp is the place to be at river Drina just after the Montenegrian border. The owner Jelena is a great person and she makes you feel at ease and at home. The bridge is an essential part of a visit to Višegrad, though I’m not sure that that’s particularly a hot take given I’m not sure that there’s any other reason to visit the town. I found Višegrad generally underwhelming, in the sense that nothing other than the bridge justified the (very beautiful) drive from Sarajevo. Stopped here as part of a wine trip from Dubrovnik. This place is lovely and not where you would expect to find some amazing wines. The grounds and buildings are beautiful and underneath is a cellar where we tried 4 of their wines. Note that bare legs and shoulders aren't allowed, so you need to cover your legs if you are wearing shorts and your shoulders if wearing a vest top. There is a stand with 'aprons and shawls' as you enter the property from the car park, so just just grab one as you make your way in. There isn't a cost for them and you only need to cover up when you are actually going into the church, the rest of the time you are ok. See more..

We had a perfectly clear morning to drive 50 km NW of Banja Luka to enter this National Park. After paying 2 bam ($1.20 each) we drove 4 km up the twisting paved road bordered by tall pine trees to the top parking area. From this cafe/hotel area, we walked up 300 m of steep concrete steps to encircle the large concrete 1972 Monument to the Revolution. After returning to our car, we drove 1 km further up to the Ski Resort at ~ 2,600’, then descended 68 km to the Gradina Donja border crossing to Croatia’s 1960 Jasenovac Memorial Museum/Stone Flower Pot Sculpture. This is place where was one of the greatest battle against 10x bigger Nazi troops. I strongly recommend that everyone visit Museum, Memorial House and ask for Tijana (custodian). We were impressed by her detail knowledge of this historical battle. She will lead you through all chronological and historical facts, otherwise this memorial site will not understood correctly or visitor will have very limited knowledge about what had happened in this IIWW battle. Entrance fee is 5KM/person. Near by is Restaurant where you can get more information about interesting places in National Park Sutjeska, that you should visit.
