   My family came to have a workshop with Pauline. We were very warmly received in her beautiful home studio. Her artist husband, Julien, was also there. We were able to see and appreciate not only Pauline's skills as a batik artist but also the captivating work that her husband makes. Our experience was delightful. Pauline showed us the process that she uses of melting wax, using the wax to paint and stamp on fabric and then the magic of dying it and letting it develop in the sunlight. We each came away with a beautiful keepsake of our visit. We could not have been more delighted with our visit to Tout Va Bien! See more..

   We really enjoyed our visit but agree with others that there isn’t much information given by the palace itself, so for the best experience you should go with a guide. With a guide we found the visit and the palace really interesting and enjoyed learning about the history of Abomey. (We visited with English-speaking guide, Mark, who is one of a group of guides from across the country who were trained up by the government. Mark was excellent and showed us all the best sites of Abomey. We sadly did not note down his surname but your hotel should be able to help you find him, as ours did). See more..

   C’est très bizarre de décence sous terre et essayer de replonger dans le passé ,essayer d’imaginer et de refaire le film de tout ce qui s’est passé ici dans sa tête .. j’en suis sorti très ému et petit conseil
   Prenez les photos avec vos yeux et votre mémoires vous servira de clés usb et gardera ses image à vie ,on est pas obligé de prendre des photos partout tout le temps ça gâche tout ! See more..

   We visited the statue as part of a little tour of the highlights of Abomey, with a local guide. There isn’t much information about the history of the statue at the site itself, so we would recommend you take a guide. With our guide we really enjoyed our visit, as the history is fascinating. The site needs tidying up as there was quite a lot of rubbish, sadly. (We visited with English-speaking guide, Mark, who is one of a group of guides from across the country who were trained up by the government.
