    Officiellement ce jardin porte le nom de "Jardin Patrice Lumumba", il est situé en face du Lycée Ibn Rochd (l'ancien Hôpital militaire de Blida) ce jardin constitue une vrai poumon pour le centre ville.Le jardin Bizot a été créé en 1867 par la Municipalité sur un terrain militaire qui n'appartenait pas à la ville.
    Crée initialement pour être un jardin botanique, il est transformé en un jardin public, avec une fontaine en marbre et un grand bassin que se trouve à l'entrée, ou on peut voir des canards.

    Good for shopping with kids The is a pretty new and spacious “mall’’ located in ancient emplacement of Souk Elfellah, totally renovated after a big fire in 2016 and reopened for public, this big store with different departments propose a various kinds of products, has also restaurants, play & rest area for kids. The neighborhood is safe and a lot of families come with their kids to do shopping and have a fun time, a large parking is available too. In Ramadan the mall is also open by night and usually closes at midnight. Le Grand Top Shop is famous by it multiple promotions and sale events. You can reach the place also by transportation, using the bus going to 13 Mai station from downtown. See more..

When you across the states line between Blida and Medea, the nature became more spectacular, you have a lot of small access to (Challalat or Anser) to swim and got fresh especially in summertime, in families or with friends, you can spend a good time enjoying the environment and how rich is the place.     This one of the best few places in Algeria, where you can practice ski, the ski slope is accessible from downtown with Téléphérique, which is a cable transportation system on more than 2 miles, operating 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm usually, but the service hours are extended in snow season and some holidays. The journey lasts about 25 minutes and you have to change the Cabine in Beni Ali, the fare is less than a dollar. The ski slope is located next to the terminal of the station in Chréa. There no access fees, but you should have your own equipment to enjoy ski on here, or you can rent a snowboard and other equipment for less than 2 dollars. Several coffees and restaurants are open around, parking is available too. In the snow season, the Ski Club is a very crowded place, so be ready to see and meet a lot of people. The views on the Atlas Mountains and Medea are just amazing, and you can walk around and access to several pedestrians routes. Make sure to do not go on private properties and chalets. The phone network works good and the area is safe and very secured. It’s a great place to discover or enjoy, by yourself only, with family and kids or with friends. See more..

This museum exposes a lot of documents and archives, old weapons and costumes used by Moudjahidine (fighters of Algerian revolution against French colonialism) and Martyrs. Bounaama Djilali is one of the icons of the Algerian revolution against the french colonialism that lasts from 1830 to 1962. The statue was installed with his weapon beside a marble plaque bearing information related to the hero's armed struggle and the circumstances of his martyrdom accompanied by a number of his companions.     (Place of freedom in English) a very nice square where you can enjoy the colorful water fountains by night, in the middle of the place, the names of the city’s martyrs are engraved on a large black marble, to immortalize their sacrifice for the freedom of Algeria (land of Amazigh) from the French colonialism, on it back you can also enjoy an artistic work of Denis Martinez, a native artist from Blida. On the right side of the square, you can find another artistic work representing the Algerian revolution. The place of liberty is surrounded by a lot of coffee shops and restaurants, like Milk Bar on of the most old and famous coffee in the city. In the day time, the place is very crowded, because it’s a connection of lot of bus lines and it’s central position.     The ancient "Aziza" palace (Hawch Bich) is located in Bani Tamu, built by Mustafa Pasha Al-Othmani for his daughter at the beginning of the 18th century.     This Church is located on the main Amara Youcef Avenue, was an ancient Christian place of worship, that have a school annexed to it. Today, the church is used mostly as a dorm for international students coming from africain countries studying especially in Blida and Algiers Universities. The ancient christian school was nationalized, and is today an elementary school. From outside, you see the cross painted in white, and under the arch some mosaics representing christian religious faith. I’m not sure, if the establishment allow visits inside of it, but at least you will can see from the outside this church which is a proof of presence of different communities in Blida in the past.
