Tranquil, good for a swim and cool down.
Although the entrance to the lake is a tad messy, the lake itself is beautiful, surrounded by cliffs and forests. It is close to the main road, but because of the location, you can't tell. The water is slightly cloudy, probably due to the limestone, and very pleasant. The beach is a mix of shingle and rock, so sandals are a good idea. There also seems to be a lively nudist area on the other side.

Refreshing
We stop there on the way to High Tatras, it was lovely sunny day and we just pulled for little lunch and than had a wonder around and what a lovely surprise it was... water was nice and clean and really refreshing on sunny day ...

Beautiful views but not so inviting to take a swim
We stopped here for a short break while on our way to Žilina. It is really interesting and beautiful lake. Although surroundings look a little bit abandoned so we did not take a swim in it. We saw probably some locals enjoying the lake at sunny day but we didn't try it our selves as we were not sure if it is really safe.
