I love this ski center - it is very close to Liptovsky Mikulas, they take care of the slope very well and their prices are great. Moreover, the beginners can choose a very mild slope, while the advanced skiers can go to a more demanding one which perfectly separates them.

Skiing pure
We discovered this tiny but pleasant ski resort when the famous big lifts at Chopok were closed because of strong wind. We were not sure to find an other good place so close. Opalisko is well located on the northside, middle of beautiful forests, hidden from the wind. In spite of season end and overall lack of snow the slopes were well preparated, mainly the slope "Stará" which is not too long but steepe enough. Maybe because of this there were only few beginners on the slope and we could enjoy skiing pure.
