Romantic place
This is one of the Top 10 scenic sights in West Lake and is definitely worth a visit. This is an island within the lake and is only accessible via ferry from the main jetties. There are 4 pools within the island and on a night with a full moon, you will be able to see the reflection of the moon on each of the lakes. Boat ride cost 50 RMB during the daytime and 35 RMB in the evening.

charming and great day trip
It is a very nice experience to reach this small island on the west land and walk around for about 1 or 2 hours surrounded by the lavish greenery. Plenty of kiosks with food and drink too a bit pricey. SO pack your own snacks and drinks for a nice [icnic with the kids. please do not litter around and respect the place. When you reach the place take your time and do not rush back.

Nice Island on West Lake
This spot should only be accessed via boat riding. There are several types of boats for hire along the lakeside from RMB55 to 150 depending on the type of boats you take. There were pathway around the island for your viewing in particularly the 3 pagodas with holes on each of them so that during full moon period in mid-autumn festival time. many people, local or tourist, come to view the reflections on the lake service and this should be one of the special scenic sites in West Lake. At the back side of the one dollar RMB paper note, you can see the complete scenery of Three Pools Mirroring the Moon as well. Quite a nice place for strolling as there were not much tourists on the island.
