Chinese Nature Resort
I have stayed here many times over the last 10 years. It was built for tourists, mostly Chinese nationals, who come to the area to enjoy the mountains, lakes, streams and quiet. Over the years a major highway has been built across the little river from the resort so it is not nearly as quiet as in 2004. It still has a beautiful garden area and the rooms have always been clean but the beds are typical of China and are extremely hard by western standards. While it is pretty and clean, I would not recommend it for the average North American or European tourist.

A place to know about the Chiang family
Here is the hometown of the Chiang family. It is worth a visit of half day. It is better to have a guide to tell you the stories of the Chiang family. It is a long distance from the town to Chiang mother cemetery and Xuedou Mountain. If you don't want to walk too much, you can take bus No.106. It runs from Xuedou Mountain(passes by Chiang mother cemetery) and Wulin Place(the entrance of Xikou town).
