Spiritual place!
Amazing to see all of the different statues embedded into the stone. You can walk along a path right under them, or take a stroll on the larger road which is set back further to really see the scale and multiplicity of carved statues there. This is on the way to the temple, after the selection of shops at the entrance. Get there early whilst it is quieter, in the afternoon is became very busy!

Nice Hike with an OK View of the City
The base of the park had many Buddha's carved into the cliff side at the bottom and a few restaurants to grab refreshments. The hike was relatively easy and there are lots of temples to check out on the way up. The signage at times was confusing and we were not always sure on the best way to proceed up. Once at the top there is another big temple that offers pretty good views of West Lake and Hangzhou but there is also lots of branches in the way so you don't get a great view of everything below. Cost to enter the park is 45 RMB and the cost to enter the temple at the top is 8 RMB. We didn't have to show our health codes until we got to the temple. There is a cable car that can take you up/down but the hike was easy enough on our calves that we don't think it would be worth taking. We spent two and a half hours here.
