This lake has walking path all around it, great for walks in daytime or when is sunny. In winters it rains alot here so take an umbrella

Nice View at Night (East Lake of Ping Hu , Jia Xing . Zhe Jiang)
Last October 2012, I had visited this place only at night.(Morning need to attend training). It is very windy and nice lighting in East lake of Ping Hu.(China , Zhe Jiang, Jia Xing). You can see many people dance at night. I think this is their culture. It a quite place as it is not in big city.

Nice place to go for a stroll
Hardly anything is there to do in the evenings in this small city of Pinghu. A long walk around this lake will be refreshing after a long day of hard work. The surroundings are well kept with a mix of a few contemporary Chinese structures , clean pavements and plenty trees. There is a structure in the middle of the lake that looks beautiful in the evening when lights come on. I couldn't get much detail of the significance of the structure but do note the lights go off by 11pm and the place looks quite dull after that, so you might want to return to your hotel after that. There is no boating allowed in this lake.
