A Great Half-day Adventure

We started off on the hike in the morning and it wasn't too busy on the trail. It got crowded around noon though. The trail snakes alongside of the river the entire way up and so the air is cool and refreshing. Many of the so-called "waterfalls" are actually just man-made dams so won't see the big waterfall until you reach the end of the trail. The water is clear and creates beautiful blue pools. The blue pool with koi swimming in it was one of my favorite spots. There is a section called "flying mice in the forest "aka a roller coaster that was quite fun actually. It's not very long (maybe 2 minutes?) but if you're looking for a fast and fun way to hike down, I definitely recommend paying for it.

    Great nature walk
Walking up to the top of Daqi Mountain and the waterfall there was a great way to spend half a day…through forests, across rivers and waterfalls on stepping stones and suspension walkways, around the shores of the Heavenly Lake, was a great family experience. Lots of fun, very scenic and a wonderful few hours for photographers, too! Well worth the effort to keep going until the top!

    Beautiful Day trip venue
One of the major attractions in quaint but beautiful Tonglu County, Daqishan is a beautiful walk / trek especially in the autumn winter months when the leaves turn red. You will encounter nature in many and varied forms as u walk up first winding roads, then mountain paths. Waterfalls along the way offer opportunities to rest and take in the scenery.
