Super

The Riga Motor Museum’s branch exhibition in Bauska is situated alongside many other Zemgale region tourist attractions like the monumental ruins of the 15th century Livonia Order Castle and the distinguished treasury of Baroque and Rococo art and architecture in Latvia – the Rundale Palace. The car museum in Bauska, reconstructed in 2011, introduces visitors with the development of farm machinery in Latvia, car and motorcycle history of the 20th century, soviet all-wheel drive vehicles, widely used in the countryside, and combat vehicles from the 2nd World War.

Many cars belongs to last 100 years. Good information available and very well designed.
I suprised about museum when I get inside because Latvia is not car manufacturer. Museum very well designed and informative. Stars from on 1800s and ends on 1990s. Very good samples available inside. Staff of museum are very kind and helpful. You can take photo and video inside. I strongly recommend for family who have kids and car lovers. Entrance €10 for adults

    For motor lovers and others
The museum is modern and very interesting. They have lots of old cars and motorcycles. The russian cars are nice to see. Staff is latvian friendly and they have a restaurant with beer. The museum is far from old town, taxi was 18€ one way.
