Today, we made a lovely trip by bike through the Manteling, an amazing area covered with forests and sand dunes near Oostkapelle and the sea. Wow!

Beautiful piece of nature
Beautiful and diverse piece of nature, including forests, dunes and beaches. I would definitely recommend going here for a walk

Peaceful walking!
There is a dune-top path leading all along this beautiful, unspoilt coast. You can bike or walk it, and if you get tired you can easily turn away from the sea and find yourself close to one of the small towns. Just past Domburg (if heading North) the turn-off leads past a castle (which used to be the Abbbot of Middelburgh's summer retreat), where there is also a restaurant/coffee bar (with a nice clean toilet). I walked along here with my husband and on my own at different times and it always seemed peaceful, not too many other people using it but just enough so you don't feel lost!
