This quirky museum is a must visit

Bizarium is a remarkable cabinet of bizarre inventions. A 'wonder room' of brilliant inventors and their boundless imagination, technical ingenuity and especially infinite passion. Bizarium museum inspires and wonders with ingenious, scientific and crazy inventions. Just think of a flying bicycle, a walking submarine, a hair growth helmet, a swimming umbrella, as well as designs by geniuses such as Leonardo da Vinci, Athanasius Kircher and Nikola Tesla. This exceptional, private collection conveys the message that failure and experimentation are at the heart of innovation and progress. Bizarium is located in the picturesque town of Sluis in Zeeland (NL), a stone's throw from Cadzand, Knokke and the Belgian border.

    Joyful experience full of surprises!
Filled with quirky, beautiful and crazy inventions of high quality and craftsmanship, the museum offers an experience full of learnings, laughs and surprises. I very much enjoyed to see the range of inventions, from small practical gadgets in your everyday life, to revolutionary objects to change the world. From famous to forgotten parts of the history of inventions and possibilities. An inspiring visit!

    Crazy inventions
Amazing museum. Marc and Ann have made tremendous efforts to recreate a array of crazy, funny, inventive objects that they found in old and more recent patent archives. All objects have been reproduced with very much care for detail. We were lucky enough to have the sympathetic couple as our personal guides AND we got to see how it is possible to transfer electricity without a wire.
