Nordsjaellands Fuglepark, Zealand, Denmark
4.5 (101 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Copenhagen Region Zoos
Great place for a few hours
I visited with my 8yr old. Good place few hours with pre-teens. Many birds, appeared well cared for, even though in captivity, which was expected since it is a Zoo. Highlights were the rainforest aviary where you are in the same enclosure with birds AND the Bird show which we could unfortunately not get the most of since we cannot understand Danish. Yet, it was great. In summary, we’re glad we went.

Fin seværdighed for børn og fugleinteresseret
We came on a weekday and had a nice quiet time for about 2 1/2 hours. My two children of 6 and 9 enjoyed the paraquet show which lasted about an hour. Afterward we feed the goats and some Australian birds. If you are in Nordsjælland I can really recommend this place.

A fun place
At first it doesn´t sound as much fun going to a place with a lot of birds but it is. The birds are beautyful but the most fun is feeding the Australian Lories which is included when you have paid the entrance fee. Every day they have a show presenting their big aras. It is amazing watching these big birds flying free. Apart from birds you can see snakes, turtles, monkeys (also in open air), goats and wallabys. You can bring your own food and drinks.
