    Worth a visit
This was our second visit and while the last was three years ago, not much had changed. It still had loads of great displays, some interactivity and lots of information. I didn't really notice anything amazing or new and it was a bit crowded. The gift shop is really nice. The lockers are free. We did not get any food. Worth a visit every few years, but I did not feel the need to buy a yearly membership.

A pleasant surprise, bring the kids
This museum was a surprising gem. I’ve passed by this museum several times on my way to Helsingør castle but hadn’t thought about stopping in. However, I recently heard they had a good children’s section so we gave it a shot. So glad we did. The children’s section is really outstanding. There are lots of active things to climb on and activities to do. While we were there my son made a small “aquarium” to take home and he also got to race in the courtyard with some special wind go-karts. We only spent a small portion of our time in the adult part of the museum, but what we saw was quite well done. Would really recommend it as a place to go with kids, especially during school holidays.
