Very beautiful church
This is part of the Frederiksborg Castle museum and included in the ticket. Short after the start of the route through the castle we visit this chapel. After two minutes we were directly (not very nicely) away because a service would start shortly. After finishing the route we did use our tickets again to take a proper look. We could walk around the second floor looking down on the chairs and the pulpit. The chapel has an impressive ceiling and organ.

Extraordinary Baroque Bearing Homage to God
Another masterpiece by Christian IV, it is a delight for the senses. Being viewed only from the gallery does not detract, in fact vistas from on high enhance the experience. Bearing homage to his God whom Christian believed gave him his right to rule, it is a stunning creation in Baroque. Precious materials are abundantly used throughout. Nowhere more so than on the exquisite altarpiece of gold, ebony and silver. Above a powerfully vivid crucifixion scene Christ is shown triumphantly emerging from the tomb Further treasures only open to the King and his priests continue within. A last supper depiction, then a nativity portrayal and a wooden carving of a cityscape. All accomplished by the foremost craftsmen of the time. An organ of astonishing beauty is at the rear, under the wondrous ceiling.

Amazing chapel
This is absolutely amazing church, well a chapel actually as it was built for the Royal Family as their place of worship. Christian IV had the chapel constructed in 1606-17 and no expenses were spared. When lots of Frederiksborg Castle burned down in a fire in 1859 the chapel escaped. Now the chapel is also a parish church. We were extremely luck to witness an organ practice which was an amazing experience.
