An unique place worth to see a lot!
Rakhtshooy Khaneh Edifice, is located in the heart of historical texture of Zanjan city, along to old and traditional city boundaries. It is in a high-populated residential area. In the past times, most of people (especially women) washed their clothes in such a place. This application for a general or popular monument is rare or even unique throughout the world. In the recent years, this building has prepared and renovated and now is applicable as an anthropology museum and all people are able to visit it. It seems that such structures has designed for local and native Zanjan women especially in its cold winter.

Nice restored public lavatory
Perfectly restored, this Qajar-Era lavatory now houses a small museum with many wax statues showing how it worked. If you have some time to spend in Zanjan you should visit this place.

Old-time laundry
Restored old laundry room. In this rebuilt old laundry room there are figures of women [it was only women who once did the laundry!] and sometimes the children accompanying them. Well, that's cool, but to impress me, it didn't impress me.
