Absolute must see!
This location instantly took my breath away! I couldn't stop taking pictures in all directions! Wonderful nature scenes play off against steaming geothermal springs! It's a bit crowded with Chinese tourists, but the sights make up for it!

Good for hiking
The volcanoes are of course not anywhere near active but there are a couple of identifiable calderas to look at. We went off the beaten path and ascended the bigger one from the back -there is a small path but it's difficult to find- which was enjoyable since, you know, avoiding Chinese domestic tourists is a must whenever possible. The area is pretty huge and there are non-paved roads running through the park so if you're into hiking this place is great. You can spend a whole day walking around and also visit the sites furthest away where few Chinese go. All in all not a bad place but slightly expensive if I recall correctly.

Pummicestone Central
It's easy to rent a car/driver to visit this area and enjoy a variety of scenic spots including ancient craters, columnar pillars, rivers and springs. All this for a very reasonable Y40
