    DO NOT MISS IT!!!
We are not into brandy. Actually we don't like brandy. But thanks God we said yes to this tour. With very low expectations we headed to the Ararat Factory/Museum. We were immediately greeted by the lovely guides. Museum is nicely built, a beautiful building and a cool sanctuary in July's heat. The tour guides were lovely, patient, well informed. The tasting at the end was both delicious and fun. It took only 2 hours to change our opinions about the brandy. We ended up buying several bottles of brandy and no regrets. Since brandy plays an important part in Armenia's social life, a visit to Yerevan is meaningless without going to Ararat Museum. Opt for a premium tour, spare at least 2 hours for the visit and enjoy!

    Converted us
I have a confession - I don't like brandy, until we tried Ararat! Now we have matured to become brandy drinkers - just like Churchill [also a convert to Armenian brandy]. It's a great museum and the tour guide really conveyed the Ararat story and her passion for the nation's drink. The tasting is really essential for getting the ritual right. Loved the visit.
