Highly impressive collection

Cambrian museum is the first specialized paleontology museum in Iran which showcases around 400 examples of fossil remains discovered in the last 30 years around the Iranian plateau particularly those found in the Yazd province. The museum exhibits remains of invertebrates such as echinoderms, trilobites, ammonites, amphipods, and neutrophils.

DO NOT MISS IT!
After the Darabad Wildlife-Museum of Tehran, the Cambrian Museum of Yazd was the second Natural History Museum I’ve visited my entire life and I have to say although the whole site is not as big as the one in Tehran but I do really think it is much much worthier. I mean more than 400 examples of fossils which dates back to 200-500 million years ago! Isn’t that worth visiting?? Also I had a great time with its owner Mr. Pezhmanpoor which he helped me a lot with the history of the discovered fossils. If you are a lover of Natutal History do not miss this one! These museums are rare all over the world!

Stunning museum
The owner of this museum has found these fossils and worked on them for over 20 years. Its unique because it exhibits the fossils for million years a go . Mr pezhmanpour has collected many fossils and he talks so passionately that its so impressive. This museum is inaugurated about 3 month a go ;Its worth visiting ,I assure you.
