A House of The Ideal of Myanmar
It is a wonderful and proud place for our Myanmar people. As we all know, U Thant served as the UN's third General Secretary for 10 years and he did many good things for UN and the world. After he died, his body was brought to Myanmar according to his desire. Then, his house was renovated and was opened as a memorial house. There will see the pillar of the vision of U Thank which is written in 8 languages. Inside of the house, the historical photos, each has its own historic occasion, hang on the wall. And there, you can buy the books written about U Thant. The important is that it opens only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm local time.
