Awesome family experience with kids age 13 and 10. Jack, the owner and his family were so kind and helpful. Jack met us at the Metacomet location where we parked our car. We hopped in his van and drove up river to the Strawberry Hill launch area. Our family of four started Kayaking around 5:30pm and reached our destination by 7:30pm. We saw beavers, eagles and got to do some fishing. I recommend bringing water, snacks and wearing water friendly clothes and shoes. There were very few bugs on our kayaking ride but come sundown the mosquitos were out in full force in the parking lot. Cash or Venmo only. Highly recommend Metacomet Tours! We will definitely be coming back with more family and friends.See more..
