Good Edu-tainment Place for the Family
Great place for a half-day family outing, with good accessibility at the fringe of KL. Varieties of birds moving around the visitors, especially with large amount of peacocks. Visitors can see and feel the birds at close range, and even feed the birds. The park is not too large and should be good enough to cover the major paths in 2-3 hours. Suggest to go there in the early morning when it's not too hot, come out in the afternoon and you can conveniently head to Hornbill Cafe for lunch. Will certainly return for casual visit.

RM75 each but I guess you could spend hours here
My Dad and I visited at the end of September. We were astonished at the RM75 pp entrance fee relative to the cost of other attractions, but we paid up and went in anyway. There are some stunning birds on display, and it’s nice to know they have decent amounts of space to move about (except for the ostriches for whom we felt the enclosure was WAY too small). The different areas are connected by various pathways (lots of slopes to negotiate) and there I are several seating areas scattered about. Unfortunately the central path through the park was closed off when we visited, as I suspect this is the easiest thoroughfare. The heat and the slopes were a bit much for my old dad, so we aborted the visit having seen only a fraction of the sights. At least we assume it was only a fraction of the sights, as the map they give you isn’t very helpful at all with regards to telling you what there is to see and where. I suspect it’s worth the pricey ticket price if you make a day if it, but it could get expensive given that (officially) no outside food or drink is allowed, also you’re obligated to purchased from the in park cafe if you want refreshments
