Very useful shelter from all weather

The KLCC - Bukit Bintang Walkway is a 1.173km-long pedestrian bridge that connects the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre to the Impiana KLCC Hotel, KL City Walk and Pavilion shopping mall. There are several entrance and exit points (escalators and staircases) along the bridge. With the KLCC - Bukit Bintang Walkway, people can travel safely, conveniently and comfortably on foot from the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre all the way to Bukit Bintang, and vice versa. Opened in January 2012 by Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, the bridge is a safe, comfortable and convenient alternative to the city’s busy roads for pedestrians.

Nice corridor but Needs stronger AC and directional arrows
Easy access from Grand Hyatt (via Walkway to the Menara Darussalam lobby) by taking either the escalator or the elevator. Because access is open to the hot/humid weather, the AC is not strong enough to keep the stuffy corridor cool. Westerns tend to walk on the right, while the locals walk on the left. In the 6-person wide corridor, this mix of right-left walking habits results in even more overcrowding. Suggest marking a center line with arrows to indicate which side ppl should walk. On overcast days, we opted to take the 5-min trek on the sidewalk to get to the Pavilion KL mall.

Air conditioned covered walkway between Pavillon to KLCC
This is an interesting walkway that is air conditioned in most parts connecting two major shopping prescints. But it is not a through connection. Some parts of it traverses through buildings that also take you to the KL Aquaria and through another building. Some of the steps have escalator while 1 set of steps do not have escalator. On our first excursion, we followed the signs but still have to seek assistance from locals as to where to turn into the building and basement to the Aquaria etc. Overall its a good walkway and can be busy at peak hours from local commuters.
