Dissapointing enforcement of COVID-19 SOPs and lacking information
From previous visits this would have been a five however our most recent visit was dissapointing. This was mainly due to the failure to enforce physical distancing and mask wearing among visitors by security. At one point after a man repeatedly stood far too close to my son and I whilst hooking his mask under his chin for photos and repeatedly ignoring my requests (in English and BM) to keep apart I approached the security guard. It took 3 requests before he even moved and then he failed to actual enforce proper mask wearing. The venue should have ejected this visitor. The fish and other animals stocked all appear to be in good health and the otter feeding "show" was impressive, something that we've not seen on previous visits. However there is a distinct lack of information about what you are seeing. It all feels a bit like the Instagram setting is valued ahead of the educational potential. The aquarium in Langkawi is far superior to this establishment. Crowding had been a serious issue before. We first visited in Oct 19 and actually asked to leave via a fire exit as we felt unsafe due to the huge overcrowding. Thankfully numbers were far lower on subsequent visits although since then we've always made a point of only going on weekdays avoiding public holidays.

    Worth a visit!
The Aquaria is bigger than expected with many fish tanks and good educational sign boards. Went on a weekday at opening time which wasnt too crowded. The highlight is definately the escalator surrounded by sharks!
