Lake Hársas is a beautiful, clear, small lake near the austrian border at the corner of north-west Hungary. It's about 15 km away from Szentgotthard, a border city to Austria. Surrounded by mountains and green forrests. You can reach by car or bike, than you need to climb up some hills :) This is an official, free, well established and equiped natural beach. It has all what you need: local street food booth (lángos, hamburger, hot dog and beers), shower and dressing room, first aid, toilets, tables and bench, shady places under the trees. Quiet, peacefull summer picnic. There is no sign of 3G neither 4G, so you can be really relaxed out of nowhere. The water is shallow, get warm easily, so really ideal for small kids. With permission, you can go for fishing, Opening time is up to 18:00 every day. Strongly recommended for families!

1/2 hour for a walk
I was impresed by beauty of nature, what looks like a moutain despite the area is almost flat, for enjoying the time here is prepared seats with tables along the bank where we l had a realy quality time at cards playing, only what disturb me no choice for refreshments to buy, i.e. bring your own meals, when you are not wiling reduce the time spending here besides of durst
