What nice people to help out when we had very little left.

What great and friendly volunteers at the Op Shop. After leaving devastated Kalbarri a few days after the Cyclone, for a funeral in Bunbury. We found that with quick packing of clothing, we were running low so we visited the Op Shop as they were across the road from the shopping centre. Was a pleasure to speak with them and they were so very helpful. Keep up the good work and thanks to you.

    Smallest Church in Western Australia
This small historical church is located to the front of the more modern Saint Nicholas Church. The building is listed on the Heritage Register with its structure described as "a small one-room timber-frame, jarrah weatherboard building with a corrugated iron hip roof surmounted by wooded crosses. The building has simple vertical board doors and timber framed windows. It is simply furnished with exposed roof timbers and features memorial plaques to pioneering settlers". "The building stands on land originally purchased by James Narroway from the Western Australia Company. It was built in 1840 as a small cottage residence which Narroway shared with his wife. Later in 1848 it was used as a church by John Allnut, who held services in his home over the road until the Narroway cottage was made available as a church. Services were conducted there for a number of years, after which it was used for a school and then leased by the Church of England (Anglican Church) who eventually acquired the building in 1915. It was named St. Nicholas and cared for by the Clifton family and is reputed to be the smallest church still standing in Western Australia and possibly Australia". We were unable to gain admission on the day and were later advised that it can only be viewed externally.

Beautiful, quaint chappel located across the road from Australind inlet. Also fantastic, voluntarily run op shop adjoining the church. Super, friendly staff
