A gorgeous waterfall originating from the unseen top of the island. Clear cool water falls over jagged rocks where you can swim into or under the falls and sit behind looking out at the clear warm waters surrounding batanta. The vegetation is beautiful with orchids growing at the top of the falls and lush foliage surrounding it. There are a few smaller trickles of water in other places. 4.0Air Terjun Malol(1 review) - The magnificent of Malol Waterfall! Waterfalls It was 2 years ago when my family and I visited Malol Waterfall. That was my first time visited it and it made me amazed by its beauty. This magnificent waterfall is located in Gamta Village, West Misool District, Raja Ampat. From Gamta, it took us 1 hour to navigate Gamta river to the speedboat parking area and from the speedboat parking area we had to walk around 1 hour through the forest to find the waterfall. Along the way, we could hear the sound of the birds and enjoyed the forest. Also, through the Gamta river we could see the native people who live in the forest and we could see them making Sago (traditional food of Papua). The waterfall has 5 stages, the best stages is in the fifth stages as the stage is the biggest waterfall. I really enjoyed the view, air and the cold water. This place is suitable for those of you who like adventure and nature as this place is still virgin. FYI there is no tourism facilities there so you need to prepare your meal and tracking equipments because the track was very challenging.See more..
