Great place on the beach
We had a great couple of days lazing at Warung Turtle on Tanjung Aan Beach. About 15 minutes by car from Kuta. IDR 10000 to park your car or scooter all day and under cover. The beach was very clean and the sand soft and white. Not too busy in January as low season. We got 2 beach chairs and a beach shack. Nice cold drinks from Warung Turtle and lovely food. Lots of people selling stuff but you don't have to buy anything, just a pleasant " No Thankyou." I didn't feel pestered at all. There are lots of dogs roaming around but they didn't bother us. Lots of surfers heading out to the reef but a really beautiful beach for swimming.

Great Day
Could easily spend all day here. Super soft and white sand, crystal clear waters, ambient temperature and no real waves, so you could relax easily in the water. Lots of different warungs offering food and drinks (but more western than local when it comes to prices). You can pay a small fee to use the sun beds, or free if you buy from the warungs.

Soft white sand beach
If your looking for beautiful powdery soft sand beach than this is the place for you. It didn't have much of a crowd on the day we went which is also why I think it was so clean. These are my main points for beaches and this one ticked off both. They have a few of those swings which people post on Instagram. The sand is white and so soft, the water is clear and turquoise color making it just like a postcard. There are some beverage/snack huts which lounger chairs. Only thing is there are dogs running around on the beach.It is a bit of a drive from Kuta but absolutely well worth it.While I have not been to all the beaches in Kuta, I have been to Gili T and this is way way better, if your staying in Kuta this is a must visit!
