Eretz Yehuda Archeological Museum, West Bank, Palestinian Territories

4.5 (3 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Kiryat Arba Speciality Museums

Amazing place

We went to this small gem of a museum after visiting the Mearat Hamachpelah--cave of the patriarchs. It is a "must see" for people visiting this very interesting area of Kiryat Arba. The director of the museum, David Goldman, possesses a wealth of knowledge and information about the archeological findings that the museum contains. If you are interested in the history and archeology of Israel, don't miss this place.

    Tomb of The Patriarchs
This is near the Tomb of the Patriarchs which for some reason is not on Tripadvisor. The tomb is awesome and it is really interesting to see the second holiest site for Judaism. We went on a tour and saw both sides of the tomb the Arab and Jewish side. One part is a mosque and the other a Synagogue and general function area. There is also a holy well, or hole in the ground on the Muslim side. Overall very interesting place, and a symbol for how divided Hebron is.
