Yakima Area Arboretum & Botanical Garden, Washington, United States
4.5 (30 reviews) Spent 1-2 hours Ranking #6 in Yakima Points of Interest & Landmarks • Scenic Walking Areas
Pleasant place for a walk
Lovely grounds for a stroll. Admission is free, but a donation is suggested. We purchased a bottle of honey from the gift shop that was produced by the bees on site. A little sparse in foliage in March, but still enjoyable.

Wonderful place to be one with nature and beat the heat!
Walk my dog to this location every morning. She might find a squirrel to chase up a trees. Mature, well cared for landscape. I love walking through here or just sitting on a bench. Watch the birds, ponder life, have a picnic.

Walk, look and learn!
When you first get there, swing into the visitor center and chat with the volunteers. They are a fount of information. Take a brochure and take you time - there is lots to see! I also used my phone to get even more info. I even was able to chat with one of the gardeners. What a great grew! Take your time and enjoy.
