Cool place to hang out and watch the jets come and go.
You are also right where the floatplanes launch from. Interesting the crew and passengers just walk across the tarmac to the building.

Fun to Stand and Watch
If you're expecting a monument, this is not the place. The memorial is a seaplane base which you cannot enter publicly, but instead just stand in the park next door. It's a nice, tiny park, and it's fun to stand and watch.

A Mermorial to two famous Americans
This is where Wiley Post and Will Rogers took off at the beginning of an adventure that was to take then to Alaska and other arctic areas, that end a little more than a week later when they crashed. There is a small memorial monument near the end of the runway they used.
