    Local history
Lovely little museum, well kept by caring folks and engaged docents to answer any questions. Interesting exhibits supplement the permanent displays. Nice.

    What a wonderful surprise!
My daughter wanted to go see a Women at Work display so we went along. We figured we'd be in and out of the little unassuming museum in a 1/2 hour. We were so wrong! The exhibit we went for wasn't huge, but it was very informative. Then came the real surprise - this museum holds so much more! We wondered through wonderful displays showing the history of the pioneers, and those that came after. We strolled through an early cabin, a school house, shops, a train, and much more. We learned about the lives of early settlers, teachers, Japanese immigrants, farmers, women entrepreneurs, housewives of the 50's, farmers, mill workers, etc. There are things to feel, real photographs to peruse, and so many objects to look at. We spent almost 2 hours it. It is quite the hidden gem! If you like history, visit this museum!!
