Beautiful WA State Park

We do an annual family tent camping trip and this was our first visit to Twin Harbors Beach State Park. A beautiful park, with an easy trail walk to a beautiful Pacific Ocean beach. The sites were wooded and except for the separate RV area, most were quite nicely separated from neighboring sites. Hot showers for a small fee, nice and helpful rangers. Gas station/general store within walking distance. Nights were chilly and early mornings tended to be foggy so warmer gear was much appreciated at those times. We liked this state park a lot!

    Stayed in a yurt!
We spent a night here with friends and we reserved both yurts. I had never stayed in a yurt before and it was fun. The 2 yurts are next to each other and close to the bathrooms/shower. Both yurts were very clean and honestly, they smelled like spic & span, so we had to air them out a bit. This didn't bother us, we were happy they were clean! We were less than a 10 minute walk to the ocean. The beach was very pretty. Even though it was July, it was cool and very windy. We were able to have a fire at our campsites which was really nice and were able to buy some firewood at the check-in station. The yurts have electricity and 1 overhead light inside. They also have heaters. Even in July we had the heater on all night and it was very toasty and warm inside. The yurts don't come with bedding so you need to bring your own blankets and pillows. This was a really fun experience and our kids had a great time running around.

    Great Place to Camp
Camped here in late September. Camp sites are spaced far enough apart to offer a little privacy. Facilities are well maintained and clean. Short walk to the gorgeous sandy beach.
