Over all good, a few things missed
The atmosphere of the spa is calm and relaxing. The locker rooms are big enough with two changing rooms, two showers, a sauna and a steam room. The bathroom area was clean, tidy and offered toiletries which was nice. The day pass for the spa includes access for the hotel's pool also. The pool area itself was unclean and the jacuzzi also appeared unclean. This was a bummer as our group had seven treatments between us and spend the entire day at the spa. Not being able to use the pool area was a let down. There also appeared to be some mold in one of the showers and a film on the floor in the steam room of the women's bathroom. Overall the atmosphere is nice, it just seems maybe some elbow grease needs to be put into the showers, pool area and steam room. Megan provided excellent service for my body scrub and facial. She proved to be very accommodating, knowledgeable and kind and I wish she could give me a facial every day! I had a manicure and pedicure scheduled also. I wanted gel for both which I was allowed to book but then upon receiving the treatment was told they don't offer gel for toes. The pedicure itself was relaxing with a cooling mud and nice hot towels used as well as a lovely cream for hydration. However, the actual paint job of my toes is less than ideal - I'll be repainting them soon. Additionally, my gel manicure ended up being a total bust as the gel wasn't adhering to my nails. I've actually never had this happen and I'm unsure why it happened other than my nail beds just not being dry/cleaned off enough. At this point two layers were already cured - kind of- so we had to do the entire removal process. My mani/pedi ended up taking nearly three hours which is just too long. My technician was kind and polite but pretty obviously inexperienced. Overall, I would go back but honestly only because Megan provided such amazing service.

Not a gambler? Try the spa!
Part of the Little Creek Casino Resort, the spa is nicely put together. When I arrived, the greeter, Karina, took time to show me the relaxation room, all the showers and steam room options, how the lockers work and answered any questions I had. Much different than other spas I've gone to the for the first time with the comment "take the first door on your left" or something like that. You can have a variety of massages, including a Lomi Lomi which I chose. It was the first one I've had, and Deanna did a great job of explaining the style and also with the massage itself. A very nice experience!
