Highly recommended great visit !!

Well worth a visit, for us it was "Northern Exposure" and a 30 year dream to come here and see where it was filmed that brought us here, and there is a small section on that in the museum. The base of the museum goes back to the mining days of the town though and the whole history of living here which was much deeper an long lived than the half a decade the show was here though that i'm sure brought in some money and tourism for them. The volunteer here was great very informative on everything from the oldest of days using both his knowledge of things and his own very interesting stories of his own live here and in the region. Much appreciated all that he added to the experience. Highly recommend checking it out and supporting the museum. Maurice Minnifield would want it that way !!

Roslyn Historical Museum
A charming collection of historical memorabilia from the late 19th and early 20th century gathered so a visitor can find nostalgic and sometimes terrifying objects and incidents of the town's history.

Goldmine
Just as the name implies this is a historical museum. what the name doesn't tell you is that it is plumb full of history and interesting artifacts. If you are interested in learning about Roslyn, WA this is a great place to start. If you are interested in learning about coal mining this is a great place to start. If you're interested in history this is a great place too.
