A great little museum
This small museum out the beaten path, is worth a visit. They have some of the best old things in the house to see. And only, $5 to visit, also, Goldendale is a nice small city. We had a great visit.

You really don't want to miss visiting the Presby Museum!
I love local historical museums, and the Presby is way beyond most. Located in a beautiful old mansion, the local historical society has spend the last 60+ years collecting artifacts and building excellent displays. They have more room than most such museums and have made excellent use of the space. The docent who greeted us was very well informed and completely helpful. I've ridden past for years and can only regret not stopping sooner.

Nice Museum in an Impressive Historic Home
We enjoy visiting museums in small towns. This one was above average. The historic home that it is housed in is beautiful just to walk through. The exhibits are well layed out, with each room of the house having a different theme or focus. The volunteer staff was very friendly and happy to talk to us about their collection and their local history.
