    Peaceful, Beautiful, and Meaningful
This is a well-kept, outdoor beautiful display of stunning bonsai. You walk along an easy flat outdoor path. Each exhibit has details about each bonsai and memorable tributes to Japanese-Americans. To add to a peaceful experience, I recommend trying to go when less people may be there, and when it's not too hot and sunny. When we visited, one of the bonsai gardeners was working on one of the trees and was very helpful and answered all our questions. Visitor drop-off is available at the entrance, with parking a bit of a walk away. Free entrance and parking; donations accepted. The Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden is right next to the Pacific Bonsai Museum, and while it charges admission, the bonsai museum does not. Highly recommend visiting this hidden gem.

    Hidden Gem, Without a Doubt
This was way more impactful than I had assumed going in. The museum is well-kept (although it was really hot the day we came), and the bonsai installations are all beautiful. The way they wove the cultural significance of the bonsai in WWII throughout a section of the exhibits was stunning. Parking is currently a bit light, given the COVID situation, but nevertheless, the museum is open, running, and still lightly attended enough that you should absolutely go. Hidden gem, without a doubt.
